Meet Lisa
In January 2013, Lisa founded Cloudburst Advisory Group, a boutique sponsorship and media sales agency, representing an unparalleled roster of properties, events and venues in the Washington, DC market and beyond. Through the company’s exclusively represented venues and properties, brands, marketers, and advertisers host experiential events, engage with consumers, sample their products, and advertise their services. Since its inception, Cloudburst Advisory Group has been successful in generating meaningful revenue for their clients; to date, Lisa and her team have negotiated over $4M in sales ranging from media buys to multi-year, six-figure sponsorships. In 2019, Cloudburst negotiated, sold, and executed over 75 revenue generating programs across a portfolio of 15 shopping centers. In addition to sales representative services, Lisa consults with developers to create strategic sponsorship and revenue plans for development properties and trains teams on sponsorship sales fundamentals and tactics.
Prior to founding Cloudburst Advisory Group, Lisa honed her business development and sponsorship sales skills at General Growth Properties, now Brookfield Retail and at Westfield, now Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. During her tenure in the retail real estate industry, Lisa developed and managed some of the largest and most successful strategic partnerships in the mall space, including a 10-year partnership with Discover Card, a Members Reward Lounge with American Express, national sales promotions with Pepsi, and various seasonal revenue-driving programs.
A native of Philadelphia, Lisa resides in the District of Columbia with her husband and two children. A former NCAA rower, Lisa is an active board member of her alma mater, The George Washington University, where she serves to support GW Athletics through fundraising events and mentoring student-athletes.
